Help your mob and train in Indigenous health. The Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care course includes:

  • basic health care assessments, screening and implementation
  • infection control
  • social and emotional issues
  • first aid
  • rights and needs of community members
  • maternal and child health

The 12-month course consists of 4 compulsory 1-week blocks as well as vocational placement. Course costs start at $380 and depend on electives and vocational placement.

Certificate IV in Primary Health and Diploma courses are also available. More information about all the courses is available on the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE website.

Student support
