  2. RockStock Aboriginal Art Competition

    In keeping with the rich Aboriginal Tradition of the Jagara people of the Yabarba (Helidon) area and in conjunction with NAIDOC week, an Aboriginal Art Competition will be held. Karla McGrady has designed the art work which is based on a local dreamtime legend that tells of how the famous Helidon Spa Water came into being.

  3. Indigenously Austr(al)ian

    Wheelchair and limited mobility access
    Toowoomba Indigenous artist Melanie Hava in her solo NAIDOC Week exhibition to be displayed at Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery. The cleverly titled Indigenously Austr(al)ian will be displayed at the Cam Robertson Gallery until July 26. Drawing on her Australian and Austrian heritage, Melanie Hava fuses aspects of family history and the influences of two distinct landscapes and cultures.

    The Gold Coast NAIDOC Family Fun Day provides Community Members of the Gold Coast and afar an opportunity to come together, have a feed and a bit of fun. There will be a number of activities on the day including Aboriginal Dance troupe, Ochre Painting, Traditional Games, Service Stalls, Immunisations, Jumping castle - so come along and join us.
