Claims and entitlements

The Queensland Government reopened the process for people who wanted to claim stolen wages and savings (the reparations scheme) in August 2008.

These applications closed on 30 April 2009.

We are processing claims as quickly as possible.

The Redress Scheme was established to provide payments to people who experienced abuse and neglect as children in Queensland institutions.
