Cape York Institute Higher Expectations Program

The Higher Expectations Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Cape York, Palm Island and Yarrabah communities to finish high school and go onto university.

Deadly Pathways

Information for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students about different study options and career development. Topics include studying at TAFE or university, getting money to help you stay at school and more.

Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF)

The foundation funds education, development and employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

Yalari

Yalari runs the Rosemary Bishop Indigenous Education Scholarship Program. The scholarship helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from remote or regional areas attend a private boarding school for their secondary education.

Charlie Perkins Scholarships

Two new annual scholarships will allow talented Indigenous Australians to study at the University of Oxford for up to 3 years.

Department of Education, Training and the Arts

The Queensland Government's Department of Education, Training and the Arts offers a range of scholarships for school leavers and post-graduate students. Scholarships include the Pearl Duncan Teaching Scholarship for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Discovery Indigenous Researchers Development scheme

This scheme provides support for Indigenous Researchers in undertaking research projects. Researchers who have recently completed or are about to complete their PhD are eligible to apply.

Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) Scholarship Fund

The Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) Scholarships are aimed at mature-age Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who want to undertake studies in commercial and economic management.
